  • We are located at 85 Kentucky Avenue, near the historic Jackson Square and right behind the Alexander Guest House. We share a driveway with the Guest House, so turn in at their entrance and then follow the driveway to the right. You’ll see our chapel on the hill.

  • Visitor parking spots are located on the lower circle. Handicapped spaces are located up the hill, near the chapel.

  • Some of our members prefer to dress more formally for worship services, but most will dress casually, including jeans and shorts. Wear what’s comfortable for you!

  • Yes, for the 10:00 service. Children who are not old enough for Sunday school may stay in the nursery during the worship service. The nursery is located in the lower level of the education building. Young children are also welcome to stay with their family in the chapel.

  • Children old enough for Sunday school begin in the chapel with their family. After the children’s sermon, they go to the education building for classes. Of course, children are welcome to stay in the chapel. Please note that there is no Sunday school or childcare during the 8:15 service.

  • No. You will be greeted at the door and we invite you to fill out a visitor card and drop it in the offering plate.

  • No. Guests are not expected to give an offering.

  • At The United Church, we celebrate the Service of Table Fellowship on the first Sunday of the month. Table Fellowship (also called communion or the Lord’s Supper) is open to all. People are invited to come forward at the appropriate time to receive a piece of bread and a small cup of grape juice. Not everyone participates, so feel comfortable doing what is right for you.
